The weather during these months offers clear and warm conditions, making this the best time to climb Mount Kilimanjaro.

September & October:
The weather turns a bit cold, but it’s still a great time to climb.

November, March, April, & May:
These months are the rainy season, so we recommend this time of year only for experienced trekkers.

What Skill Level Do I Need?

Mount Kilimanjaro is a challenging climb, but beginners can reach the summit with no trekking experience. Proper acclimatization to prevent altitude sickness is more important than your hiking skills.
