Gorilla Tours in Rwanda or Uganda?
We make the decision to visit Rwanda or Uganda easy! Opt to visit the “Land of a Thousand Hills” to see Rwanda’s volcanic landscapes and learn about its peacebuilding efforts after a violent civil war. Or choose our Uganda safari to visit Rwanda’s capital before flying to Bwindi to trek through its tropical rainforest to spend time with Uganda’s rare mountain gorillas.
Best Time for a Gorilla Trek
You can trek to spend time with silverback gorillas any time of year, but the best option is to visit during the dry seasons June to August and December to February. The forest will be drier at these times, making trails easier to navigate. During the wet season, hiking will be more challenging due to the mud created by the rainy season.
Caring About Gorilla Conservation
When you choose your gorilla trek, it’s important to pick a gorilla tour company that cares about gorilla conservation and encourages local communities to protect against gorilla habituation. As a responsible tour operator, Nature in Spirit makes every effort to give you a once-in-a-lifetime experience with a gorilla group while ensuring they’re protected.
