Overview

Mara Intrepids and its proximity to famous Mara river stands as spectacular wildlife-rich location, well known spotting area for elephants, rhinos, buffalos and all the Big Cats. The camp operates on strict eco-principles, with hot water generated by burning used coffee husks, biodegradable waste used for creating compost, and all wastewater recycled through on-site constructed wetland.

Mara Intrepids centerpiece is dining terrace, swimming pool and raised platforms with river views. You can enjoy international and local dishes, prepared largely with home-grown ingredients. Breakfast and lunch are served outdoors, under the trees overlooking the river, while dinner is served in the classic dining tent.

Each tent is furnished in the classic style of the grand African safaris, with large four-poster beds and handsome reproduction furniture, offset by modern en-suite bathrooms with hot showers, flush toilets and all modern amenities.
