Overview

This is probably the most famous hotel in all Rwanda, best known for offering shelter to the 700 Tutsi refugies during the 1994 Genocide. Hotel des Mille Collines is located in the central business district of Kigali, allowing you to enjoy the breathtaking views over the city hills, while indulging in culinary delights from casual to fine dining, international cuisine to local signature dishes.

The hotel features 112 rooms and suites meeting and, conference facilities including a ballroom for up, to 300 people an outdoor swimming pool and, recreation area and seven boutiques.Hotel des Mille Collines is known for promoting local artists as well as the Rwandan Culture and products. A ‘Cultural Night’ is held every Friday, dedicated to give its guests a taste of the Rwandan culture through live performances of song and dance.
