Built within ancient baobab trees, Tarangire Sopa Lodge lies hidden between kopjes of the national park famous for its large herds of elephants and tree climbing pythons.
The lodge consists of 75 rooms, of which 2 are wheelchair accessible, and there are 4 interconnected rooms as well.
Sopa Lodge has an open terrace, where the guests can enjoy the sunset and relax with a view or wildlife roaming nearby.
Because the property is not fenced, the animals have a liberty to come and go as they please, which can sometimes cause a delay in walk toward your room by curious elephant – but that is a rare sight.
