Arrive Nairobi from your home destination. Our representative will meet you at the airport and transfer you to your hotel in Nairobi for dinner and overnight. Your Tanzania & Kenya Wildlife Experience is about to begin!

Tanzania & Kenya Wildlife Day 2: Masai Mara Game Reserve

After breakfast transfer to Wilson airport for your flight to Masai Mara. You will do a game enroute to the camp arriving in good time for lunch. After lunch you will head out for afternoon game drive. Maasai Mara is considered to be one of Kenya’s most precious wildlife sanctuaries.  This big game country long famed as one of Africa’s greatest concentrations of wild animals.

Plain game can be found here in staggering numbers, which in turns supports a tremendous predator population. During your afternoon game drive, you shall have an opportunity to see wildebeest, herds of buffalo, lion, impala, giraffe, elephant, topi, warthog, ostrich, cheetah, hyena, and other wildlife.

Tanzania & Kenya Wildlife Day 3: Maasai Mara

Morning and afternoon game drives across the expansive Savannah. Maasai Mara is the northern-most extremity of the great Serengeti ecosystem. Here black rhinos browse among dense thorn bushes and herds of giraffe and elephant roam the woodlands. Large numbers of hippos gather and swim in the Mara River. Boasting Kenya’s largest predator population, the reserve is renowned for its large lion-prides.

After breakfast you will depart the lodge and head to Serengeti via Isebania border.  After the border crossing, you will transfer to your accommodation near Lake Victoria for lunch and free time before dinner. School visit.

Tanzania & Kenya Wildlife Day 5: Game enroute to Serengeti

After breakfast, you will depart the lodge and head to Lake Victoria for water activities around the lake. After the activities head to Serengeti National Park with packed lunch. Upon entry to Serengeti NP, you will witness Africa’s iconic savannah landscape and sheer number of ungulates roaming these grassy plains. Get to see the Serengeti “Kopjes” which are massive boulders of granite standing in a sea of grass which provide shelter to a large variety of flora and fauna. With lucky, spot all of Africa’s “big five”—lion, leopard, elephant, rhino, and buffalo. You will arrive camp in time for check-in and refresh before dinner.

Tanzania & Kenya Wildlife Day 6: Morning Game Drive/ Drive to Ndutu Ngorongoro

Today you have an opportunity to go for balloon Safari that starts at 04:30 am and ends with a champagne breakfast in the midst of the Serengeti plains. You will have breakfast in the bush along with the beautiful golden colored sunrise. You will relish a good amount of wildlife in this World Heritage site known to have the highest concentration of wildlife as you do game drive after breakfast. Serengeti is also primed for its Great Migration of more than 2 million wildebeests, hundreds of thousands of zebras and many other species of antelopes that occur every year, attracting thousands of carnivores.

You will go back to the camp for lunch and check out. At around 02:00pm, you will leave the camp heading to Ndutu with game en route. Ndutu is located in Ngorongoro Conservation Area, south of Serengeti National Park. There are almost two million wildebeest and zebra that move through the area each year. Ndutu is also home to cheetah, lion, giraffe and hundreds of bird species. On February which is the calving season the Migration is at Ndutu, the wildebeest give birth to approximately 8,000 babies a day.

You will explore Lake Ndutu, the alkaline lake that attracts a wide range of wildlife that come around to drink water and for cooling off their bodies. Continue searching for the best game viewing spots across Ndutu, which is usually heavily populated with elephants, wildebeests, Zebra, antelopes and big cats especially from December to April. As dusk draws close, you will leave the lake behind you as you drive to the Camp for dinner and overnight.

Tanzania & Kenya Wildlife Day 7: Ngorongoro Crater

After breakfast, you will depart for game enroute to Ngorongoro Crater with a picnic meal. Visit a Maasai boma en route and get to know the semi-nomadic Maasai, one of East Africa’s most well-known icons. Spend some time interacting with them and learning about their traditions and culture. Conduct an afternoon game drive and get to explore wildlife in the self-contained ecosystem of Ngorongoro Crater. This is a land of multiple uses where wild animals and human beings have managed to co-exist together in harmony. You will drive more than 600 meters deep to Ngorongoro Crater, a fallen mountain believed to erode more than millions of years ago. You will have a game drive to search for various animals from endangered black rhinos, lions, buffaloes, elephants, gazelles, warthogs, hippos, zebras, waterbucks, hyenas, jackals, to large flocks of flamingos along Lake Magadi.

Tanzania & Kenya Wildlife Day 8: Lake Eyasi - Drive to Arusha

After an early breakfast you will drive to Lake Eyasi with picnic lunch ready to encounter the African Bushmen. You will head to meet the Hadzabe who are known to be hunters and gatherers. You will get to interact with these iconic tribes documented to live in groups and sharing all the resources available. You will also get to learn how they hunt for food and equipment they use.

After time with the Hadzabe you will also visit their neighbors Datoga and learn more about their culture. After cultural excursions, you will drive to Arusha for dinner and overnight.
