Day 1: Arrival/Arusha – Welcome to Tanzania

Upon arrival to Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will be met and welcomed by our Nature in Spirit Travel guide and transferred to your hotel in Arusha. The transfer takes approximately 1h 30m and will include a mix of bumpy, dusty, and paved roads. After check-in you will time to relax and get ready for your safari the next morning.

Day 2: Fly to Serengeti National Park

After breakfast you will have a short transfer to Arusha Airport to catch your flight to Serengeti National Park. You will be met by our Nature in Spirit Naturalist guide and do Game en route to camp for check-in and lunch.

After lunch you will have 2 hours of free time to discover the camp on yourself.

At around 3:30 pm you will depart for afternoon game drive in Serengeti National Park, home of wide plains, herds of wildebeest, elephants moving past silhouetted acacia trees, and lions resting in the long grass. The Great Migration roams through, and the Big Five dwell here.

Day 3: Full day Serengeti National Park

If you are interested you can have an opportunity to do an Optional Balloon ride which takes place very early in the morning or have tea and Coffee at 6:00 am and depart with packed breakfast for early morning game drive for possibilities of hunting sightseeing and stop somewhere in the exclusive site in the bush under the African Acacia tree and have your breakfast with your experienced Naturalist Guide while scanning far on the horizon of the savanna plains with your binoculars searching for wildlife sightings. After bush breakfast you will continue with morning game drive and return to Camp at 11:30 am for lunch and Free time Discovery on your own around the Camp.

At 3:00 pm embark again for afternoon game drive and return to the Camp for dinner and overnight at 6:30 pm.

Day 4: Game en route to Ngorongoro Crater

After breakfast depart with picnic lunch to Ngorongoro Crater with game en route, arrive the Crater entry by 10:00 am. Descend Crater with game en route while looking at this World natural wonder that was believed to be a gigantic mountain similar to Mount Kilimanjaro today and collapsed due to earth movement forming the current Caldera.

You will stop at the picnic site and have lunch and later on continue with the game drive and ascend the crater around 4:00 pm and drive to the accommodation for dinner and overnight.

Day 5: Lake Eyasi, Datoga & Hadzabe Experience / Elephant caves and waterfalls

After an early breakfast, you will depart to Lake Eyasi, a seasonal shallow Salt Lake on the Great Rift’s floor that attracts hippos who like to calm in its high salinity water.

Your tour begins when you meet a group of Hadzabe people who are always excited to share their hunting skills with visitors. They are the only true hunter-gatherers left in East Africa. You will have the opportunity to hunt, track wildlife, make a fire, collect honey from beehives and learn a lot about their customs and way of life. Your visit will be worthwhile because you will get a glimpse of authentic African culture.

You will drive back to Karatu town for hot local lunch, an opportunity to have a taste of Tanzanian local flavors.

Later in the afternoon you will heard out for a breathtaking 2h30m nature walk in elephant caves and waterfalls of Ngorongoro forest.

The caves were formed many years ago when elephants used to visit the rocks due to obtain some nutritious mineral as the rocks are rich in calcium. Elephants would continuously hit the rocks with their tusks and eat the resulting pieces of mineral sand which helped their bones strong. Big holes from elephant’s rock hits are still there and the local nearby community calls them ‘elephant caves.’

You will then return the lodge at around 17:00 for dinner and overnight.

Day 6: Tarangire National Park

After breakfast depart to Tarangire National Park, stop at Mto wa Mbu for a short visit at this vibrant local village and continue to your lodge for lunch in Tarangire National Park. You arrive the lodge at 12:00 good time to check-in, get settled, have lunch and rest before you head out for an afternoon game drive.

Around 3:00 pm you will embark for afternoon game drive and see the Tarangire National Park on your own eyes. This park has been exceptionally productive in big game especially late in the afternoon when most of the animals congregates down to Tarangire river to drink water and graze along the river sides.

As you drive back to the lodge at around 17:00, enjoy the sunset before you get there for dinner and overnight.

Day 7: Drive to Arusha /Fly to Zanzibar

After breakfast depart the lodge and visit the Masai village outside the park and have the experience of lifetime with this unique ethnic group considered to be one of the most authentic tribes that managed to retained its traditions for decades now.

Drive to Arusha for lunch at Arusha coffee lodge and short transfer of 10 minutes to Arusha Airport for your flight to Zanzibar.

Upon arrival to Zanzibar, you will have a 50 minutes transfer to the beach hotel in Nungwi Beach for dinner and overnight.

Day 8: Morning in Leisure/ Sunset Cruise

After breakfast you will have the morning on your own to explore Nungwi beach, home to powdery white sand, crystal blue waters, and exotic flora and fauna. This paradise island is one of the best destinations as it has warm temperature throughout the year, opportunity to experience nature up close at Mnarani Natural Aquarium and get local flavors by testing local dishes and vibrant nightlife.

During the afternoon you will have lunch on your own arrangement and this is the opportunity to explore local Zanzibarian dishes. Fflavoured with array of homegrown spices such as cloves, vanilla, saffron, cinnamon, nutmeg and black pepper, the meals are full of unique and intriguing flavours.

In the late afternoon at 4:30 pm you will go for a Splendid sunset cruise in Nungwi beach that ends at 6:45. The sunsets viewed from a dhow are beautiful and timeless, making for a spectacular and unforgettable experience as you cruise along the coast. After the cruise you will transfer to the hotel for an overnight

Day 9: Snorkeling and Dolphin tour with BBQ lunch at Mnemba Island

After breakfast depart for full day snorkelling and dolphins tour in Indian Ocean and have a BBQ lunch in Mnemba Island.

Snorkeling is an easy way to experience the underwater world of Zanzibar at Mnemba Island as it is incredibly remarkable. The coral reefs and underwater plants that make up the barrier reef ecosystem are home to a variety of colourful fish and other marine life like Starfishes, Moorish Idols, Snappers, green turtles. If you are lucky as you snorkel you may encounter dolphins, the friendly and vibrant mammals.

In the afternoon you will have BBQ lunch in the beach
