Day 1: Arrival / transfer to Arusha

Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro international airport, you will be met by our driver Guide who will be with you for the rest of your safari and transfer to the lodge in Arusha which takes approximately 1h30m. Enjoy a great meal and a relaxing evening before starting your Tanzania safari the next day.

Day 2: Lake Manyara National Park

After breakfast, set off to Lake Manyara National Park, an unspoiled paradise best known for its abundance of birds and tree-climbing lions. You will see the Great Rift Valley escarpment, flowering plants, an evergreen forest and the shallow alkaline Lake Manyara. The lake covers a large area of the park, flooding and drying with the seasons and is home to thousands of flamingos during the rains and that makes the park spectacular with many photographing opportunities. The Park’s vegetation is diverse, ranging from Savannah to evergreen forest. The Park is also home to thousands of herbivores and carnivores. You will have lunch in one of the park’s picnic sites.

After lunch and a successful game drive you will drive to the lodge for dinner and overnight. You will end the day listening to amazing bird sounds from trees and gardens at the lodge where you will spend your night.

Day 3: Game enroute Serengeti National Park

After an early breakfast you will depart the lodge at 7:30 to Serengeti National Park with game enroute. Along the way we’ll pass through the rainforests of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area where you might be lucky enough to encounter wild animals like baboon, vervet monkeys, warthogs and buffalo.

As you enter Serengeti you will witness Africa’s iconic savannah landscape and sheer number of ungulates roaming the grassy plains of the park. You will drive straight to camp for checking in and have lunch. After lunch you will go for an afternoon game drive in the park.

In the evening you will drive back to the camp for dinner and overnight.

Day 4: Full day Serengeti National Park

After breakfast, get to explore the beauty of Serengeti, one of Africa’s wildlife reserves. This day-long adventure is likely to be the highlight of your stay, as the wonders of the Serengeti reveal themselves. Discover the park’s iconic creatures in the early morning Game Drive. If you will be interested, you can take the opportunity to do optional balloon safari, which concludes with a champagne breakfast in the midst of the grasslands.

Get to see the Serengeti “Kopjes” which are massive boulders of granite standing in a sea of grass which provide shelter to a large variety of flora and fauna.

You will go back to the camp for lunch then head out again for an afternoon game drive at around 15:00. As the dusk draws close, you will leave and drive back to the Camp for dinner and overnight.

Day 5: Ngorongoro Crater

After breakfast you will depart with picnic lunch and heard to Ngorongoro crater. Explore wildlife in the self-contained ecosystem of Ngorongoro crater.

This is a land of multiple uses where wild animals and human beings have managed to co-exist together in harmony. You will drive more than 600 meters deep to Ngorongoro crater, a fallen mountain believed to erode more than millions of years ago. You will have game drive to search for various animals from endangered black rhinos, lions, buffaloes, elephants, gazelles, warthogs, hippos, zebras, waterbucks, hyenas, jackals, to large flocks of flamingos along Lake Magadi.

You will have lunch in one of the park’s picnic sites then proceed in other areas of the park in search of game viewing opportunities. After this exciting game drive, you will ascend the crater and drive to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 8: Drive to Arusha

You will depart for Arusha after breakfast, on the way, you will witness striking landscapes dotted with traditional villages in search of Arusha town. In the midafternoon you will be arriving in Arusha for lunch before you transfer to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your onward flight

As you ascend more than 1,000 meters through vibrant tropical montane forests, you’ll encounter diverse wildlife, including playful colobus monkeys and the striking crested turacos. Keep an eye out for elephants migrating from Kenya’s Amboseli National Park. Upon reaching the stunning Shira Plateau, a UNESCO World Heritage Site situated at 3,400 meters, begin your hike towards Shira 1 Camp. Traverse the captivating Lion Gorge and admire the awe-inspiring Shira Pinnacles, with magnificent views of Kibo Peak and its surrounding glaciers.
