This lovely park has a large concentration of elephants and the highest number of breeding bird species. Tarangire River, is full of wildlife ranging from a variety of birds species, herbivores and of course a number of predators species. The park is also known to have one of the biggest elephant’s populations and that provides a good chance to observe interaction among the elephant family.

You’ll begin the day with the scenic drive towards the Serengeti. Along the way we’ll pass through the rainforests of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area where you might be lucky enough to encounter wild animals like baboon, vervet monkeys, warthogs and buffalo.

You will drive straight to the camp check-in, have lunch and rest a bit before you get out for an afternoon game drive. Get ready to explore Serengeti as you will witness Africa’s iconic savannah landscape and sheer number of ungulates roaming these grassy plains before you get to the camp for dinner and overnight.

Wildlife Safari Day 4: Full day Serengeti National Park

Today is fully dedicated to Serengeti National Park, perhaps the world’s most enchanting and breathtaking park on the planet.

There may be few destinations that should top everyone’s bucket list to visit over a lifetime, however, Serengeti tops most of the adventure lovers. Your guide will take you through different parts of Serengeti in search for the best wildlife viewing spots.

In the afternoon you will stop around the Seronera Valley for a delicious lunch while looking the surroundings for game viewing opportunities. Seronera Valley is kept alive by the Seronera River which attracts thousands of wild animals being the main source of water in the Central Serengeti.

Continue searching for various animals to explore from the Big Five – lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo and black rhino (although these are rarely spotted) – to giraffe, Grant’s gazelle, impala, kongoni, Topi and eland.

Main destination: Serengeti National Park

Accommodation: Osero Serengeti Camp

Wildlife Safari Day 5: Ngorongoro Crater

After breakfast, you will depart lodge at 7:00am with picnic lunch of your choice for game drive in Ngorongoro Crater, a multiple land use as you are most likely to see both wild animals and the indigenous Maasai with their cattle living together in harmony. As you approach the crater you will have splendid striking views of the Ngorongoro highlands before you start the descent down to the floor of Ngorongoro crater, a unique self-contained ecosystem often referred as 8th natural wonder of the world.

You will spend afternoon on the floor of the crater, exploring its rich flora and fauna. Since the crater has a permanent supply of food and water, animals stay inside all year round, increasing your chances to spot as many animals as possible.

You will have lunch in the picnic designated areas before you proceed with game drive. While the game drive is a game of chances, this is the best place to see the rare endangered black rhinos as well as flamingos who tend to concentrate at Lake Magadi.
