Day 1: Welcome to Tanzania

Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro airport, you will be welcomed by your Nature in Spirit Travel guide and transferred to your hotel in Arusha. If you have time, explore Arusha town on our short complimentary city tour, then, relax and get ready for your safari the next morning.

Day 2: Tarangire National Park

After a relaxing breakfast while taking your time, you will depart to Tarangire National Park and first get to Tarangire Safari Lodge for a hot lunch and have time to settle before you head out for an afternoon game drive. during the game drive you will be able to view large herds of elephants and other animals like zebras, wildebeest, waterbucks, buffaloes, elands, hartebeests, bushbucks, gazelle, giraffes among others grazing in the open plains and browsing on trees, view baobab trees, colorful bird species and many others

Day 3: Full day Tarangire National Park

After breakfast you will heard out with your lunch in a hamper for a full game drive in Tarangire National Park enjoy a game drive in one of largest park in Northern Tanzania. This park has a wide variety of animals from predators like lions, cheetahs, leopards to herbivores such as zebras, wildebeests, giraffes, waterbucks, baboons, impalas, etc.

You will get a chance to sit in the middle of Baobab wilderness for hot lunch, later continue to different areas of the park thereafter seeking to add more animals to your sighted list.

This park is known to have the largest concentration of elephants, often seen bathing in river Tarangire. The river is known to be the source of water so you will witness many animals who come to the river to drink water. If you are lucky, you will also get to witness predators hunt near the river banks when prey come to drink water.

Day 4: Cultural experience at Mto wa Mbu

Wake up early today ready to explore the cultural attractions of Tanzania at the small town know as Mto wa Mbu which means “river of mosquitos”.

You will visit a Maasai village where you will gain a better understanding of the customs and culture of these livestock’s headers and fearsome warriors who have become one of the most widely known symbols of the East Africa region. Proud with their red blankets and painted shield outfits, the Maasai have drawn attention for centuries for their incomparable lifestyle and traditions.

Proceed to the small dazzling Mto wa Mbu town for another exciting local lunch as you look to get another chance to explore closely the people of Tanzania at Mto wa Mbu town.

Mto Wa Mbu is a little town that lies at the entrance to Lake Manyara National Park full of variety of cultures form around Tanzania as this little town is a home to many tribes of Tanzania. The town is famous for its cultivation of rice and the distinctive red banana. You will have an opportunity to interact with local farmers, as well as visiting a carving studio where you will learn the Tanzanian labour system as you get to see artists enjoying their daily activities. You can also get to try the local banana beer. Enjoy the rest of the afternoon as you drive to your Lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 5: Ngorongoro Crater

After an early breakfast you will descend into the crater floor. The Ngorongoro Crater is the world’s largest inactive, intact and unfilled volcanic caldera. It has a floor of about 260 sq kms with a depth of over 2000 feet. You will roam the crater floor that will give you chance to see a lot of animals conducting their normal life activities like hunting, grazing, browsing and mating. We recommend to always keep your camera ready as mother nature might offer you something interesting at any time. Buffalos, Black rhino, Hippos, Hyenas, Cheetahs and Lions are found in plentily in the crater floor.

Post the picnic lunch at the beautiful Hippo pool, before you continue game driving during the afternoon and in the late afternoon you will begin a steep ascend to the top exit of the crater to the Lodge for dinner and overstay.

Day 6: Game en route to Serengeti National Park

You’ll begin the day with the scenic drive towards the Serengeti. Along the way we’ll pass through the rainforests of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area where you might be lucky enough to encounter wild animals like baboon, vervet monkeys, warthogs and buffalo.

Day 7: Full Day Serengeti National Park

Immerse yourself in the beauty of the Serengeti, one of Africa’s wildlife reserves. This day-long adventure is likely to be the highlight of your stay, as the wonders of the Serengeti reveal themselves. Discover the park’s iconic creatures in the early morning optional balloon safari, which concludes with a champagne breakfast in the midst of the grasslands.

After the breakfast proceed with game drive, get to see the Serengeti “Kopjes” which are massive boulders of granite standing in a sea of grass which provide shelter to a large variety of flora and fauna. After a sumptuous buffet hot lunch proceed with the afternoon safaris through the golden grasslands. With luck, spot all of Africa’s “big five”—lion, leopard, elephant, rhino, and buffalo.

Day 8: Flight to Arusha/ JRO

Every good thing has to end! However, one last adventure is left: the drive to the airstrip. This is your opportunity to find something special in the landscape as you drive to the airstrip after a relaxing breakfast, hence your Guide as keen as you are to spot final attraction as a parting memory.

Once you touch Arusha you will drive to The Arusha Hotel Four Point Sheraton for a hot relaxing lunch, freshening up as you wait to transfer to Kilimanjaro International Airport to catch your flight back home
