Day 3: Full day Serengeti National Park

Today is fully dedicated to Serengeti National Park, perhaps the world’s most enchanting and breathtaking park on the planet. There may be few destinations that should top everyone’s bucket list to visit over a lifetime, however, Serengeti tops most of the adventure lovers.

After breakfast, at 7:00 am, depart the lodge for full day game drive. Your guide will take you through different parts of Serengeti in search for the best wildlife viewing spots.

In the afternoon you will stop around the Seronera Valley for a delicious lunch while scanning the surroundings for game viewing opportunities. Seronera Valley is kept alive by the Seronera River which attracts thousands of wild animals being the main source of water in the Central Serengeti.

Continue searching for various animals to explore from the Big Five – lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo and black rhino (although these are rarely spotted) – to giraffe, Grant’s gazelle, impala, Topi and eland. Day 4: Ngorongoro Crater

After breakfast at 7:00am embark on another game drive in Serengeti National Park on the way to Ngorongoro Conservation area. Serengeti is such a huge and beautiful park that you cannot finish in a single day.

In this en-route game drive to Ngorongoro, explore the Southern endless plains of Serengeti National Park. This part of the park is remarkable for its short grasses’ rich in nutrients from the deposited volcanic ash from the old Ngorongoro volcano, loved by the ungulates that attract large predators in the area.

You will get to Ngorongoro at around 10:00am, a multiple land use whereas; wild animals and human beings live together in harmony. You will descend to the floor of Ngorongoro crater, a unique self-contained ecosystem often referred as 8th natural wonder of the world. You will spend afternoon on the floor of the crater, exploring its rich flora and fauna. Since the crater has a permanent supply of food and water, animals stay inside all year round, increasing your chances to spot as many animals as possible. While the game drive is a game of chances, this is the best place to see the rare endangered black rhinos as well as flamingos who tend to concentrate at Lake Magadi. Other animals that can be seen in the crater include Thomson’s and Grant’s gazelles, warthogs, hippos, zebras, waterbucks, hyenas, jackals, elephants, lions, buffaloes etc.

During the late afternoon at 17:00 you will ascend the crater and drive to the lodge for dinner and overnight. You will gather at our lodge for a Farewell Dinner around 7pm. Dinner features local cuisine and will include a hot appetizer, main course with side dish, and dessert.
