Important Notes

4×4 Toyota Landcruiser with pop up roof!

Vehicle capacity 6 people maximum and each will have a window seat.

We recommend Khaki or beige colored clothing. Short sleeves during the day and long sleeves after dark to cover yourself from mosquitoes as they tend to be very active after dark. We discourage wearing bright colors clothing because they scare the animals, black and blue clothing/colors attract the flies.

Proper walking shoes are recommended, especially if you will be interested to do walking and hiking on trip.

We are 3 degrees South of the Equator,

We have only two seasons here in East Africa, Wet and dry

Dry season is July- October (highest temperature in dry is 38 degrees (100.4F) during the day and it will cool down at night to 23 degrees (73.4F).

Wet season is divided into two, short rain season November-March.

Long rain season is April-May. Temperature may be unpredictable but usually is between 33 degrees (91.4F)  during the day 15 degrees(59F) at night.

June can be a bit cold 18 degrees (64.4F) during the day and 6 degrees (42.8F) the lowest at night.

Yes, children from 3 years and above.

In some lodges and camps yes, but we recommend Guests to buy local SIM cards at the beginning of the trip and use data where there is cell phone reception on trip. It’s more reliable than WFI in the lodges/Camps.

It depends on which country you’re coming from, SADC members African countries are Visa exempted, the rest of the world requires visa to enter Tanzania and you can get it online or at the airport when you arrive. We recommend you get your visa on arrival at your port of entry.
