Day 1: Arusha + Nature Walk at Mto wa Mbu Village
Your Tanzania Safari begins upon arrival at the airport.
Meet your driver-guide from Nature in Spirit Travel who will transfer you to Migunga Tented Camp on a 1h30m to 2h scenic drive that takes you through villages, hills and plains.
Reaching at your camp lodge, the lodge staff will be delighted to welcome you and help you to put your luggage at the right place/your room.
A short relaxation break will prepare you for today’s excursions as you look to explore Tanzania lifestyle up close.
Embark on a 2/3h of walk around Mto wa Mbu, a small but vibrant town near Lake Manyara National Park that will lead you to the local & stylish fabulous place with a large variety of traditional foods.
Apart from the local lunch experience, you will be thrilled to see how the locals leave. After treating yourself with a local dish, continue walking around local markets, rice fields, and banana plantations where you will have further insight on the African life, and also a good opportunity to take some great pictures as well.
Just before returning back to your lodge, observe more of Tanzanians traditions in this much-loved cultural tour as you proceed around the village, markets witnessing different day to day activities by locals.
Return back to Migunga Tented Camp for dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Lake Manyara National Park: Full Day Game Drive
Today’s expedition starts after breakfast as you depart with your hot lunch packed in hampers, ready to tour around Lake Manyara National Park.
This is the park that offers scenic woodland, grassland and swamps. The mass flamingoes is one of the park’s highlight, along with more than 350 other bird species, including pelicans, sacred ibis, grebes and storks.
With the excellent guidance of your Nature in Spirit Travel guide and nature of the game, it won’t be uncommon to spot the tree-climbing lions on the branches of the trees.
Though small, Lake Manyara National Park is among the most beautiful places in Africa. You will relish hot lunch experience in the middle of the park then continue touring this park marked off by lush green vegetation.
The tall trees of the groundwater forest in Lake Manyara Park are homes to troops of baboons and blue monkeys. The Park has also been noted for its good number of buffalos, elephants, giraffes, impalas, hippos and many species of smaller animals.
In the late afternoon when you’re done with a game viewing, continue to Crater Forest Tented Lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Full Day Game Drive in Ngorongoro Crater
After early breakfast, set off with your hot lunch perfectly packed on hampers for a full day crater tour.
This is a unique game drive in the spectacular self-contained ecosystem of Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site which is famously dubbed the “8th natural wonder of the world”.
It is believed that Ngorongoro Crater was once a Mountain almost as high as Mount Kilimanjaro, then due to volcanic forces, it sank and formed the current crater/caldera. The descending voyage to Ngorongoro crater which spreads for 102 square miles with 2000 feet high walls will reward you with stunning wildlife viewing.
In fact, Ngorongoro is one of the few locations in the continent of Africa where you can witness the endangered black Rhinos.
Sit in the middle of nowhere for a hot lunch then continue searching for varieties of animals from wildebeests, buffalos, zebras, elands, grant’s and thomson’s gazelles, old bull elephants, lions as well as scavengers like spotted hyenas, jackals.
Cheetahs & leopards can rarely be spotted. Over 500 species of birds have been spotted in Ngorongoro Conservation Area to date.
Later in the evening, you will drive to Crater Forest Tented Lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 4: Game En Route to Serengeti National Park
After breakfast, set off for a long scenic drive to Serengeti National Park known for its famous wildebeest migration and a large concentration of wildlife.
On the way to your Serengeti camp, you will have an en-route game viewing in Tanzania’s oldest park and UNESCO World Heritage Site. The route to the camp is famous for spectacular wildlife spotting chances.
You will have your hot picnic lunch in the Serengeti wilderness while enjoying scenic views of this award-winning endless plain.
Just before the sunset, you will reach Ikoma Bush Camp in central Serengeti for dinner and overnight.

Day 5: Full Day Game Drive in Serengeti National Park
This is your day to explore Serengeti National Park.
Serengeti is one of few destinations in the world where there is a chance to spot the Big 5 – lions, elephants, leopards, buffalos and rhinos.
Central Serengeti is most popular for its large number of big cats and uncountable wildlife in general throughout the year. Get to spot the elephants, buffaloes etc. as your drive along the Seronera Valley, famously known as the Big Cats Capital of Africa.
Enjoy your delicious hot lunch in the middle of Serengeti and continue exploring different zones of the park including the Seronera River much loved by wildlife for cooling and drinking purposes. The river Valley makes it a home for more than a thousand lions who like to stock their prey around the river banks. They will then climb into the nearby kopjes for a nap after relentless chasing of wildebeests, zebras and other ungulates.
Tour the open savannah of the Seronera Valley, Seronera River, Moru Kopjes, Simba Kopje and Maasai Kopjes during these two days and relish spotting a variety of animals like cheetahs, hippos, crocodiles, buffaloes, impala, Topi, jackals, bat-eared foxes and many others.
Once over at the central Serengeti, return to your Ikoma Bush Camp for dinner and overnight.

Day 6: Game En Route to Natron
After early breakfast you will depart to Lake Natron Tented Camp via Kleins Gate. On the way, you will have a game en-route through North Serengeti, another great opportunity to explore this award-winning park and UNESCO World Heritage site which was voted Africa’s Leading National Park – 2019, 2020 & 2021 by World Travel Awards.
Enjoy your hot lunch on the road as you try to reach your camp on time for the evening relaxation ready for a full day around Lake Natron tomorrow.

Day 7: Full Day at Lake Natron
After breakfast, be ready for the activities around Lake Natron which is one of the most alkaline lakes in the world.
According to science.com, “Lake Natron in Tanzania is one of the most serene lakes in Africa, but it’s also the source of some of the most phantasmagorical photographs ever captured — images that look as though living animals had instantly turned to stone. The alkaline water in Lake Natron has a pH as high as 10.5 and is so caustic it can burn the skin and eyes of animals that aren’t adapted to it”
You will have the opportunity to interact with the authentic tribe of Maasai around Lake Natron and get an insight into their lifestyle. Get enough time to search for bird flocks (especially flamingoes) at Lake Natron that is situated at the base of Africa’s only active volcano Oldonyo Lengai (Mountain of God).
Lake Natron boasts millions of crustaceans that in return attract thousands of flamingos making the place among the most important flamingo breeding grounds on earth.
After your hot lunch, continue with more activities such as hot springs and NgareSero waterfalls. Sometimes, Natron can get extremely hot around 40 degrees so the water at Ngare Sero River gorge can be cooling & refreshing.
In the late afternoon, drive back to Lake Natron Tented Camp and be there in time for dinner and overnight.

Day 8: Drive back to Arusha
Today, drive back to Arusha after breakfast and reach there in time for a lunch experience in the local restaurant. After lunch, embark on the town tour in Arusha city.
From day-to-day life of the people of Arusha, there is more than meets the eye in this city famously branded as Geneva of Africa by former US president, Bill Clinton.
Proceed to Moivaro Coffee Lodge in the afternoon for Dinner & Overnight.

Day 9: Farewell & Flight home
Today mark your memorable 9-day voyage in Tanzania.
Enjoy this morning’s delightful sunrise, later you will be transferred to the JRO airport for your flight back home.
